Credit card verification integrates DialogGuide with third-party credit card processing systems. Credit card verification functionality allows agents to enter the credit card number, the amount of the purchase, and the expiration date into fields on the DialogGuide screen. Upon command, the Liberation solution makes a call to the appropriate merchant network and processes the verification transaction. Within seconds, the DialogGuide screen displays the verification status and authorization code.
All credit card and verification information can be stored for scheduled uploads and/or real-time uploads to the customer’s settlement system. Credit card verification is compatible with all of the popular merchant and bank networks.
TDI knows that customers’ credit card information is especially sensitive data and must be protected by strong encryption. That’s why the Liberation Platform has a built-in mechanism designed to safeguard cardholder data stored in the database.
Liberation’s credit card encryption feature provides customers with a means to store credit card numbers (and other sensitive data) in a secure, encrypted format. The intent of this feature is not to provide continuous storage for such information; rather, it is designed to help customers become compliant with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards that govern the storage, transmission, and usage of such information.
TDI is certified to be compliant with PCI’s Data Security Standards and has used PCI’s Payment Application Best Practices (PABP) as a guideline to develop a powerful encryption system that is easily integrated with Liberation’s DialogWizard/DialogGuide scripting system and approved credit card processing software vendors. This integration provides Liberation customers with a seamless and secure transaction processing environment. Sensitive data transmitted during a phone conversation can be entered, stored, and processed appropriately with ample security, and in full compliance with the PCI Data Security Standards.
